Owner, Stylist

With 20 years of in salon experience, Lisa Gartner is the proud owner of Salon Thairapy. Studying hairstyling at Niagara College, Lisa was always very eager to get into the hair world. Spending 9 years between 2 salons she learned the ropes of operating a business while maintaining her hustle behind the chair.

Playing 12 years of competitive soccer and basketball and falling naturally into a captains role, it was obvious she would one day lead a team of stylists in a salon. She now spends her spare time on the golf course, the volleyball court or at the gym. A lover of sports and humour, Lisa will always keep great conversation when you are in her chair.

Lisa is a Wella Master Colour Expert. She finds pure joy in her ability to concoct a beautiful, unique and specialized colour for her own clients as well as assisting her staff in doing the same. (Not Currently Accepting New Clients)

Senior Stylist

Another Niagara College graduate and a Salon Thairapy original, Stefania Fortino has 21 years of in salon experience. Following in her fathers footsteps, hairstyling is in Stefania's blood . Spending 12 years under the guidance of her uncle, an International platinum award winning stylist, she learned all the tricks of the trade. With many previous years of Wella experience, she was a large influence in bringing the colour line into Salon Thairapy ! Nothing fulfills Stefania more than a beautiful classic precision haircut.

Much like her preference in hairstyling, she is an old soul spending Sundays with her family, and always listening to Oldies on Spotify. Long neighbourhood walks and a good tv show binge is how she finds her balance.

You won't be taken better care of by anyone else than Stefania, she is always here to service YOU!

Senior Stylist

Hey Maree! This beauty jumped on board at Salon Thairapy 8 years ago and we couldn't be more excited to have her!

Graduating in 2009 from Niagara College she has 15 years of in salon experience specializing in colour and styling.

Working with the Aveda colour line for her first 9 years, Maree adapted so well to Wella’s endless range of colours and had expanded her colour palette in so many ways.

When shes not in the salon, Maree spends her spare time at the gym, or on the soccer field but will never turn down a night of Big Brother on the couch!

Like the rest of our passionate crew, Maree knew she wanted to be a hairstylist at a very young age. She excels in her approach of `the natural look` and loves a good men`s cut, but still fits in perfectly with us as she is truly happy taking care of anyone and everyone.

New Talent

We are excited to introduce to you the newest member of our crew, Sydney !

Sydney is another family inspired stylist, sharing her love for hair with her sister who is also in the industry.
A born and raised Niagara Falls girl, completing the hair program at Niagara College along side our girl Laney. We are so pumped to have her on our team.

Sydney loves doing colour and styling. Being a part of clients special days and making people feel confident and happy with their hair everyday is what she loved the most about this industry. She’s eager and willing to take on any and all hair experiences that come her way! 

If she’s not at the salon you can find her in the kitchen baking, hiking and hanging with friends , or sitting at her piano expressing herself through music. 

New Talent

Let us tell you about our girl Laney.

Laney comes from a family of stylists that are part of her inspiration to get into the industry. She has just recently graduated from Niagara College in the hairstyling program. We love her eagerness to get in the salon and get the ball rolling! Laney is certified in GBB k-tip, i-tip, weft and tape in hair extensions

Laney has completed her first 3 Levels of Colour Craft through Wella’s Education Program and looks forward to continuing to work towards her Master Colour Expert certification.

When she not at work or school you can likely find her at the gym or hanging with her boyfriend and friends.
